History

Broadfield's history runs deep, with its first mention being in the Domesday book. The building became a house of importance in the fourteenth century before being turned into a large farmhouse. The building was restored as a gothic mansion in 1852 and exhibited a range of gargoyles and historic features.

Almost 1,000 years later, Broadfield is being introduced to the 21st century with another, more modern restoration. Its unique and long lasting history will now be carried forward by a two-generation family run business.

This bespoke wooden-framed structure strikes an awe-inspiring balance between indoor and outdoor wedding venues. Its roofing provides quaint shelter while its open space walls evoke a rural air.

Main House

The main house plays host to two beautiful function rooms, the Drawing Room and the Inner Hall, which can accommodate more intimate affairs and larger gatherings. They offer original features such as beautiful wood panelling and ornate fireplaces, the perfect space for your rural celebrations.

Conference Room

This space is perfect for larger ceremonies and provides a fantastic blank canvas for your bespoke celebrations.

This versatile venue also provides the option for a marquee or tipi on the picturesque lawns; an excellent choice for reception celebrations of up to 250 guests.

Broadview's recent renovation plans mean that its 8 splendid bedrooms will be kitted out with all of the modern necessities you could possibly need for a luxury break away.

The rooms are elegantly decorated and comfortably furnished and can accommodate for up to 18 people. Delicious locally sourced food will also be provided throughout your stay.
