An experienced hair and makeup stylist, Anne Matthews decided to set up The Bridal Hair Company in 2007 and has, ever since, been inundated with dozens of brides. With such a wide clientele, Anne is experienced in a wide variety of looks and hairstyles, creating anything from the classic chignon to unusual rockabilly quiffs.

Anne Matthews has a long history of making people look and feel great. As well as 30 years in the hair industry working with the famous Trevor Sorbie and Toni & Guy, Anne also has a history in fashion. She has completed a HND in fashion design and for several years ran her own fashion business.

Predominantly working in East Sussex, Anne will also travel to London, Brighton and Hove.

Hair and Makeup

With her vast experience in the hair and fashion industries, Anne is perfectly placed to advise you on your wedding look and bring it into reality. In addition to being a fantastic hair stylist Anne is also a talented makeup artist, so you can leave your entire look in her very capable hands.

Anne's versatile and varied experience allows her to create any look that you might like, whether that be vintage or contemporary and her fashion knowledge helps her modify your ideas to best suit you and leave you looking unbelievable on your wedding day.

Services

Before your wedding day Anne can offer a trial, usually lasting approximately two hours and giving you a chance to try out different styles and looks. This will typically be up to six months before the wedding.

Anne will then be there on the day to make sure that you are your glamorous self, she is also able to provide hair and makeup for bridesmaids, mother of the bride and any additional guests that you might need, though of course be aware of time restrictions.
