Hannah Wiltshire is the enthusiastic proprietor of Baby Cakes. Before setting up the company in 2009, she was involved in the publishing industry as a commissioning editor for illustrated books. Her change of career was inspired by a life-long dream of being a full-time baker, and then by the arrival of the loves of her life - her two children.

As evidenced by her Facebook page and in her excellently written blog, she is a true innovator, with demonstrations and recipes forming a regular feature. In our opinion, this is the sign of a passionate and active baker - one who strives to inspire others!

The Cakes

Baby Cakes supply a broad range of sizes and number of tiers, with various flavours, fillings and toppings, entirely depending on your requirements and preferences. Each and every cake Hannah produces has a unique design and price-tag, so get in touch for a bespoke quote. As a guide, we've put together some general information below.

Flavours

Baby Cakes offer sponge, chocolate, fruit and even gluten-free and vegan flavours.

Sizes

How many guests do you intend to invite to the big day? This is an important decision that determines the number and size of the cakes, and how many tiers you will need.

Sizes range from 10cm to 30cm, catering for 10 to 50 people respectively. These are priced from between £55 - £155 for single tiers. Do get in touch for tiered cake prices.

Fruitcakes go further thanks to their being richer - double the number of guests can be fed with this type of cake. Add £5 for a chocolate sponge and £15 for a fruitcake.

Cupcakes

Your guests can freely eat these without getting all messy or needing plates, and they come in a wide variety of delicious designs and flavours. Cupcakes make a fabulous design statement when presented as a stand-alone tower, or can be commissioned as bespoke ancillary pieces to complement a principal multi-tiered centrepiece cake.

Iced Cookies

Add yet another element of bakers' glory to your wedding day with Baby Cakes' iced cookies, which can be created to a specific design or to complement a theme, then wrapped in coloured cellophane as on-table favours. Prices available upon request.

The Service

A personal delivery service is readily available, and costs from £15 for weddings or drop-offs in and around the immediate Bath area – add more for events taking place further away. Additionally, Hannah can arrange to set up your cake if this is required.

Cupcake Stands

You can hire a beautiful and high-quality (sturdy) cupcake stand from Baby Cakes for £20, which will allow you to hold on to it for 3 days - there's a £60 returnable deposit.
