History

Abbey Barn and the local attractions nearby are full of incredibly historical stories. The closest village, Barton Bendish, is a charming, shrunken medieval village with 2 13th-14th century churches still there today. The local landscape is a network of farms dating back to the Neolithic Era that have supported local civilisation up until this day Abbey Barn itself has preserved its authentic courtyard formation and the double-height ceilings, and plenty of fascinating original features to spot throughout the day.

Environmental sustainability is integral to the surrounding agricultural land. The surrounding lack is an enriched biodiversity, lush with fruit, nut and broadleaved trees and an introduction to wild bird food to increase the local bird population. The Courtyard Pavilion

If you would prefer to say you 'I do' outdoors, The Courtyard Pavilion is the ideal space to enjoy with your guests throughout the day. With plenty of seating amid the beautiful blooming flower beds, you can sit back and relax with a glass of champagne after the ceremony.

Abbey Barn's incredible chefs will bring your food dreams to life with mouth-watering precision and immaculate detail. It really is your choice, with bespoke wedding breakfast menus, canapés and champagne, a sit-down three course meal or some light evening bites to keep you going on the dance floor.

Accommodation

Abbey Barn have accommodation for both you and your guests at The Farmhouse for when you are ready to rest your heads after a busy night on the dance floor. The Honeymoon suite allows you and your partner to reminisce over the incredible day and live in first-class comfort for the evening with a sip of champagne or a nice soak in their free-standing tin bath.
